My neice Sienna!!

I wanted to share with all of you my new neice Sienna Flosi. My brother and his wife just had their first baby girl in June. She is so precious. I am so happy I got to spend some time with her before we left.

My new challenge

So this is my new challenge for myself. I want to learn how to surf. Most of my friends know how deathly afraid of the water I am. so this may come as a big surprise. I just couldn't help myself. The beaches here are too beautiful not to get in and enjoy. I had my first lesson over Labor Day and really liked it. I only got up on the board once, swallowed so much salt water I can still taste it, and hit my head a few times on the board. I am excited for my future lessons from the best teacher out there....Reid!

Moving on...

What have the Sullivan's been up to? Well, we have moved from St. Louis, the place we called home for almost 6 years. It was hard to leave our home we all loved SO much and some great and lifelong friends who we will miss greatly. The kids and I are living with my parents for the summer until we make the official move. The above picture is pretty much our back yard!! It's ok to be jealous.(: I guess you will all just have to come visit us. Reid has successfully gotten us a beautiful home all on his own (for the second time!) He really knows what I like. I must say, I don't think most men would be able to do what Reid did as well as he did it. ( I have taught him well) We will do the best we can to keep up on our blog. Be patient, it may take a while to get things going. We have a real adventure ahead of us, but couldn't be more excited! I know this is where we are supposed to be, and what we are supposed to be doing. I have had a great experience with trusting in the lord over the past 6 months. I am grateful for this experience and it has strengthened my testimony greatly. Thanks again to all my friends who helped me while Reid was gone. I couldn't have done it without you.

my latest favorite thing

This is my latest favorite thing! I discovered it at my very first trip to Trader Joe's!! I have never been there and everyone keeps telling me I need to go. It is SO delicious!! I highly recommend it!

backyard campout with Grandpa!

The kids really enjoyed their visit with Grandma and Grandpa Sullivan a few weeks ago. They spent so much time doing so many fun things! One of their favorites was the backyard bonfire they made! We also made foil dinners and had a great time!!

My latest favorite things

I know this isn't new to a lot of you, but this is something Reid's mom told me to do with my jewlery. I LOVE IT!!

I have decided to start a journal. I don't enjoy writing, but after seeing Reid write in his everyday for 4 years, I decided to give it a try!

This has always been a favorite of mine!! (: (: xoxo

Joshua's birthday and family time!

Christmas!!

We had a wonderful time at my parents house for Christmas! I LOVE going back to Chicago every chance I get! Santa was gooood to us this year! The kids enjoyed going sledding with all the guys, playing the Wii, but most of all......their new DS's that Santa brought them. Their next favorite Santa gift was their new Electric Scooters (with helmets of course) Santa must of known the only way to get them to wear them was if he brought them. Matthew enjoyed his basketball hoop, multiple Elmo toys and DVDs. But his favorite was his motorized car! Santa knew he would feel left out if he couldn't cruise around the culdesac too. I of course got my Wii Fit Plus, which I LOVE! Reid got the first ever FBI coffee table book, and about a million things to take to Quantico with him. I think the most meaningful gift was from my brother and his wife. They gave us a plane ticket so Reid could come home to visit while he is gone!! So thoughtful Dave and Corinne, thanks. All in all, we had a great vacation. Can't wait to go back.
